MILFORD – The Pike County Branch of Quality Deer Management Association (QDMA) announces the following special prizes at the Banquet and Sportsmen's Event on Thursday, Sept. 22, at Ehrhardt's Waterfront Resort on Lake Wallenpaupack, Route 507, Hawley.

Flyfishing Trip - The Blooming Grove Hunting and Fishing Club, in recognition of the important work that QDMA has done to promote and enhance deer hunting and protect natural resources throughout the country, and to help the non-profit organization in advancing these activities, donated a one day's guided fishing and lunch for the winner and a guest on club waters. Beginners as well as expert fishermen will experience an unforgettable day of angling on Club streams!

Golf Outing - John E. Pillar, Sr., PGA Professional Director of Golf at Woodloch Springs at Hawley, donated a Gift Certificate entitling the recipient to four (4) complimentary green fees for 18 holes at the Country Club.

Deer Mount Prize - Wildlife Artist and Master Taxidermist Shawn Lamparter of Gouldsboro donated a white tailed deer mount. This professional has been recognized in competition with awards at the state and national levels.

Registration begins at 6 p.m. and dinner at 7 p.m. followed by live and silent auctions and various raffles.

Early bird raffle tickets of $300 in value are available for $100 if purchased up to one week prior to the banquet, or, $100 buys $100 worth of raffle tickets on banquet night.

Banquet tickets are $45 for one adult for a full course dinner and one-year QDMA membership, and $65 for two adults for two dinners and one QDMA membership.

Register by mail no later than Saturday, Sept. 17, by sending your name, address, phone number, email address and whether your registration is a new QDMA member or renewal with your check made payable to "Pike County QDMA" to HC 1 Box 1323 Egypt Rd., Tafton, PA 18464.
